Speculation is swirling and the rumors say that Becky Lynch, the Smackdown Women’s Championship is out with injury and will be unable to compete in her scheduled match against Ronda Rousey this Sunday at Survivor Series.
The finale of Monday’s Raw saw the Smackdown women’s division attack the Raw’s female roster. During the scuffle, Lynch was busted open on the bridge of her nose. The injury keeping her from Sunday’s match is rumored to be either a broken nose or concussion.
While neither injury would keep her out of action for an extended time, it will obviously keep her from competing in Sunday’s contest. It’ll be interesting to see what the WWE’s backup plan will be without Becky.
I've reached out to WWE for confirmation on the Becky Lynch/Ronda Rousey match. I was surprised they'd call a match of that level so early. Was told Lynch has a big black eye
