Who’s up NeXT? The newest series on Sports Al Dente will be a bi-weekly series talking about the up and coming stars of NXT. Who better to start off this new series than the “Limitless” Keith Lee.

Lee, billed from Dallas, Texas, has wrestled for numerous independent promotions such as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, All American Wrestling, and Evolve. He is a one-time PWG World Heavyweight Champion and recipient of one of the most prestigious accomplishments in professional wrestling, a five-star match from the infamous Dave Meltzer for his match against Donovan Dijak at PWG Battle of Los Angeles on Sept. 3, 2017.

Lee is not yet a household name, but his charisma and surprising athleticism, accompanied with the guidance of the trainers at the NXT Performance Center, are his one-way ticket to stardom.

To describe his style of wrestling is best to put it as simply “adaptive.” No match is the same, just as no two wrestlers are the same. There are times where Lee plays his big-man role well, but he is just as agile as strong. I’ve heard him be described as a “Cruiserweight in slow motion.” This mans ability is… well…. “limitless.”

I could definitely see Lee as an NXT North American Champion. This isn’t to downplay his skill, but to give him the North American title would add to the belt’s prestige. I would love to see him be in NXT for a while and dominate the entire division, then eventually put someone over before going to the main roster to truly cause a storm. Lee is Golden on the mic and truly unorthodox in ring. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with, and the rest of the WWE Universe will see that as well.

Some good free matches from Keith Lee on YouTube are:

Keith Lee vs James Storm

Keith Lee vs Tomohiro Ishii

Keith Lee vs Ricochet

Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
